It's as if the developers said "hey, it's getting close to the end of the game, we need to make up for the slower parts by pretty much raping the player in a couple of enclosed rooms." I understand the formula and wish I could have completely embraced and loved it, but it really just amounted to frustration and left me asking why they designed it that way. This is not a matter of skill but a matter of ridiculous pacing. Challenge and more action, sounds great right? It should have been, but for some reason it just pissed me off. ![]() I also understand the fact that the game was building up to more action towards the end. I understand challenge and most certainly welcome it. There are really only a few sections like this near the end but it basically boiled down to throwing a crap ton of enemies at you in an all out endurance-fest. It basically came in the form of throwing seemingly endless waves of enemies at you in small areas. ![]() ![]() With that having been said, there is one main thing that really put me off about the last couple chapters in the game. The closer I got to the end, the more it drew me in. Overall, this game is beautifully designed in just about every aspect.
